Partner Services

How it works, rules and conditions

A plain-language guide to requesting work, performing it, tracking progress, handling payment and resolving problems.

Important summary

Customers pay upfront, but Partners are not paid merely for marking a job complete. Completion enters a 48-hour review period. The customer approves satisfactory work or requests admin review; otherwise payment releases automatically when the deadline passes.

Requester flow

When you need a service

1

Create a clear request

Choose a category, describe the exact work, provide the service location and choose a preferred time or “as soon as possible.”

2

Set and pay the amount

The amount entered is charged upfront. It is the amount a Partner agrees to accept when claiming the request.

3

Wait for a matching Partner

Only paid requests are shown, and only to verified, available Partners who offer the selected category.

4

Follow the job

After a claim, the customer receives the Partner’s service contact details and can follow timestamped travel, arrival, start and progress milestones.

5

Review completion

The Partner submits a completion note, GPS check-in and proof photo. Review this evidence before approving the work.

6

Approve or request review

Approve satisfactory work to release payment, or open an admin refund review before the approval deadline if the work was not properly completed.

Partner flow

When you perform the work

1

Complete a genuine profile

Provide accurate service contact details, address, service area, experience, categories and rates.

2

Pass profile verification

An administrator must verify the service profile. Partner access alone does not permit claiming jobs.

3

Choose availability

Only verified Partners marked available can browse and claim new matching jobs.

4

Review before claiming

Read the full description, location, preferred time and paid amount. Claiming means accepting the scope and amount shown.

5

Keep an accurate timeline

Post truthful travel, arrival and progress updates. Starting requires a deliberate GPS check-in.

6

Submit credible completion

Completion requires a meaningful note, current GPS check-in and proof photo. Payment remains held during customer review.

Detailed conditions

Rules that apply to every job

Payment and Partner earnings

  • The customer pays the request amount before the job appears to Partners.
  • Claiming does not charge the customer again.
  • The platform fee is currently 15% of the agreed amount; the request snapshots the percentage in effect when created.
  • The Partner receives the remaining net amount only after completion is approved, auto-approved, or an admin rejects a refund case.
  • Partner wallet credits have the platform’s existing seven-day withdrawal hold before they become withdrawable.

Location, evidence and privacy

  • This is milestone tracking, not continuous background location tracking.
  • GPS is captured only when a Partner deliberately posts a check-in, starts work or submits completion.
  • Both booking participants can see submitted milestone times, notes, coordinates and evidence.
  • Partner service contact details are shared with the customer only after the Partner claims that customer’s job.
  • Do not upload unrelated people, private documents or sensitive information as evidence.

Cancellation before completion

  • Cancellation is available while a booking is accepted or in progress.
  • If the customer cancels, the current policy deducts a 15% cancellation fee and refunds the remainder through Stripe.
  • That cancellation fee is credited to the assigned Partner as compensation, subject to the wallet hold.
  • If the Partner cancels, the customer receives a full refund and the Partner receives no compensation.
  • A cancelled request is closed; it is not returned to the open-jobs feed.

Completion, approval and refund review

  • A completion submission changes the booking to awaiting customer approval; it does not immediately pay the Partner.
  • The customer currently has 48 hours to approve or open a refund review.
  • If the deadline passes without a refund review, the system automatically approves the work and releases the Partner earning.
  • Opening a refund review freezes normal payout release while an administrator reviews both parties’ records and evidence.
  • If the admin approves the refund, the remaining paid amount is refunded and the booking is cancelled. If rejected, the Partner payment is released.

Eligibility and fair use

  • A Partner must have Partner access, a verified service profile, complete contact details, availability enabled and a configured rate for the request category.
  • A Partner cannot claim their own request, claim outside configured categories or claim an unpaid request.
  • Only one Partner can claim a request. A database lock prevents two Partners from successfully claiming the same job.
  • Verification confirms profile review; it is not a guarantee of a particular result. Customers should still review scope, updates and evidence.
  • False updates, manipulated evidence, unsafe conduct or attempts to move platform payment outside the recorded flow may lead to administrative action.

What the platform records

  • Request description, location, preferred time, amount, payment state and creation time.
  • The assigned Partner, agreed amount and every booking status timestamp.
  • Submitted milestone notes, GPS coordinates and evidence images.
  • Customer refund reasons, evidence and the administrator’s recorded decision.
  • Stripe identifiers, refund audit records and Partner wallet transaction references.

Optional Partner subscription

How Partner Plus works

Subscription

$10 per month with no trial. Only approved Partners can subscribe. Billing and cancellation are managed securely through Stripe.

Handpicked work

A customer may choose an eligible subscribed Partner directly. That Partner has 2 hours to accept or decline. A decline or timeout opens the request to everyone immediately.

Early access

For non-urgent scheduled work, matching subscribers can see the request before free Partners until 10 hours before the scheduled start. Urgent work and areas with no eligible subscribers open immediately.

Priority alerts

Subscribed Partners receive email and in-app alerts for matching paid requests. Free Partners can still browse public jobs but do not receive proactive new-job alerts in this version.

Commission

A job claimed while the subscription is active snapshots a 10% platform fee instead of the standard 15%. Later subscription changes do not alter that booking.

What does not change

The wallet withdrawal hold remains 7 days for everyone. Plus does not change verification, evidence, customer approval, disputes, or safety requirements.
